In case of unexpected health problems, listed below is what we offer to help you with your new pet purchase.
Coccidia: Coccidia is a parasite commonly known to puppies. All of our puppies receive albon and corid for 5 to 15 days.(Coccidia Preventive) Depending on the length of time it spent in the nursery before it was shipped to his/her new home. Coccidia can only be found under a microscope thru a fecal exam and it can be treated with minor medication if it is detected early. ( Albon $12.00 to $14.00 ) That is one of the reasons we require a stool sample to be done on your new puppy immediately when it arrives to your location. If prescription medication is needed for your puppy to treat coccidia you may request a refund for medication. If it is found present at your puppy's first office visit or within 5 days of the time you receive your puppy. See refund instructions in health guarantee. We consider this type of parasite something that can be treated with minor medication if detected early enough.

Giardia: Puppies can contract Giardia from drinking contaminated water. This normally happens when they step in their feces and then put their paw in the water bowl. It can be detected in a fecal exam and can be treated with minor medication. If prescription medication is needed for your puppy to treat Giardia you may request a refund for medication provided it is found present at your puppy's first office visit or within 5 days of the time you receive your puppy. (See refund instructions in health guarantee.) We consider this type of parasite something that can be treated with minor medication if detected early.

Hernia Repair: If your new pet is found to have a hernia and must be repaired with surgery, we will pay up to $100.00 for the surgery, if a vet credit was not already given at time of purchase. A request for the amount must be submitted within 20 days of the date you received your puppy. Offer is void if your request is submitted after 20 days. A letter will be required from your vet to verify the condition. This letter must include details of why he/she feels this surgery is mandatory. We do not cover hernia repair for cosmetic reasons.
